Gogoma, the first of the rogue camping spots

We left Sudbury in the evening so only drove a couple of hours before pulling off on a bunch of sketchy sideroads and eventually stumbling upon this gem. Cecilia had a good instinct about the farm lake road. There was a beautiful dock where we cooked our dinner and breakfast and cooled our feet in the water. We cracked into the 4 liter box of wine and relaxed the evening away to the sounds of cecilia singing. After dusk the bugs were all gone and the bats and dragonflies came out to feed. Luckily when we brushed our teeth we didn't drink the water because the next morning while washing up we found it to be crawling with critters! It really was the most beautiful spot and set the bar high for the rest of the trip.

Next stop Timmins!
